I think among a scouts arsenal he should be able to create wooden bows of any subtype he desires. What would stop a skilled scout from taking the time to carve his own customized wood bow?

Is it that hard to find bows?

It's just Cleef the Queef again. His presence is a statistical improbability, and he can therefore be safely ignored.

I'm talking RP here gents and a self-reliant class. Goldlantern, thank you for the compliment.

I don't think it's needed or wanted. If it's "for rp", why stop at bows? Let's make some wooden swords/spears/axes!

Because scouts are geared toward bows, hence why they get fletch, ambush, skirmish and rapid shot.

I think this is a good idea. I mean, scouts spend all their time in the wilderness.. what else are they going to tie up presents with?

I'm for and against this. For in the fact that scouts should be self reliant. Against because well it makes things really hard to do. But it would allow for some interesting combinations and could in the end prove to be an interesting flavor and mechanical add.

However, I think I'll support the idea only for one true reason that goes miles beyond the scout. Artisans. A class or group of skills to craft things would be awesome. Many a day comes that I think of joining a certain group simply for the ability to make armors and shields. Why not make a class that does that, give them a few spells (enchants and such) take away said skill from group and give them another in its place that is more RP fitting and actually will apply to them better in the current CRS system.
