Just wanting to throw out the idea of Religous Specific Lyrics.

Protection -Nashira: Protection by nature.
-Yed: Protection by/from the elements.
-Sadal: A song about luck.

War - Sargas
- Alshain?

Healing - Meissa

Death - Achernar

Antimagic - Ain? It's not magical, it happens for a reason.

Dancing - Meissa

Magic - Mira

Sleep - ?

Silence - Sadal? Silence before the Storm, in the middle of the Storm, or After the Storm.

A lyric you can only learn when part of that religion.

Maybe, but not needed: Higher benefits due to the restricted amount of bards that can sing that song.

Just wanted to throw the idea out there....

I can't tell if Marfik is kidding!

Lyrics don't affect anything (besides multiple bards/harmony), they are just for roleplay.

yeah well then script of the song a bit when a bard with a coresponding religion is singing it??

I don't know the game mechanics well enough, that's where the rest of you come in.

We already have a system in place to easily allow for new lyrics sets to existing songs. Write a set of lyrics and find an imm to sponsor you. Ultimately, I'd probably have to type it in, but I don't want to be responsible for the vetting process. Then you can have your own custom lyrics and/or we can write a little quest that grants that set of lyrics to bards of the appropriate religion.

So I could have all the lyrics to the songs of my bard changed to my own with approval?
If so, that makes me want to play a bard.
