I was pretty happy when the change happened. It was getting to be ridiculous when EVERY SINGLE MERC was spec'ing in some form of crossbow and slaughtering whole groups. The game turned into who can their shot off first. Even with the changes, however, I've seen quite a few mercs that still spec in a bow/crossbow.

Well, I guess I was mistaken. Sorry about that guys. I never saw that, though.

My max hp barb was getting 10% dmg from a harm and he once got 60% (full adam, buffed and all) in one and a half round from a siege crossbow. It was definitely a good change. :-?

Can we have it fixed so that the waist slot is considered to be armor and is affected by armor penalties?

That does APPEAR to have been an oversight... it's easy to fix and I have for the next reboot. But maybe it was intended to be that way? I can't remember if there was a good reason to allow metal belts...

Seems to me that a belt of plates wouldn't be as heavy or encumbering as any other armor slot, for some reason. It might also be because there's a lot of waist containers made of metals.

Wait did you just remove the ability of non heavy armor classes to wear heavy armor belts and call it a bug fix?

I don't think that should be changed, please, no.

Then swashies and rogues wouldn't be able to use steel scabbards!? I mean, come on.
