I approve of this modification as long as the pets are within 'ear-shot' -- perhaps the distance of the 'yell' echoes -- and the pets have to navigate their way on foot to the character.

It's a good idea for newbies, as previously indicated.

I like this idea too.

Though I'm not too familiar with the yell command, it goes pretty far in the wilderness doesn't it?

Yeah, yells go pretty far.

As I already said, I love this idea. I've spent many hours wandering about a wilderness area looking for my stupid horse. And many times, since certain horses have climb, they'll be in an area my low level character can't access without some help. That means I just lost a few platinum... and I can still see it! So close... bah. Very frustrating.
