Rogues really don't need anything in my opinion. Any and every rogue should have a pet and always be behind it, with wimpy at probably 30 or so. They can escape fine as is...Hardest class i've had to kill is rogues. -_- slippery critters..

I always wondered why they didn't have it to be honest. Not saying that they are imbalanced and need it. It just seems to be one of those things that they should just have. It makes perfect sense for the class.

Sure. Remove circle stab and give them tumble.

Edit: Oh, and remove hamstring as well if you're going to give them tumble.

That really doesn't make any sense ducky.

"Any and every rogue should have a pet and always be behind it, with wimpy at probably 30 or so. "

might as well say that about bards...

Does anyone ever even SEE anyone use tumble. I can't recall ever seeing anyone use it.

I've seen tumble used by a couple bards to good effect, before.

I don't think tumbling is a rogue skill. Tumbling is like an acrobatic performer skill. It's tumbling like you'd see in a circus or something. People walk a high wire and flip on it or something. That's my idea of tumbling. Tumbling should be exclusively bardic.

Rogues should get evasion. Rogues in my mind are cut throat bandits at worse, slick cutpurses and footpads at medium, and at best they are sneaky treasure hunters. They have the need to escape.

Examples, a lighty rogue who doesn't murder people sneaks and stalks and picks and walks his way through an evil wizards trap laiden tower so he can steal a powerful device from the wizard and gets caught! He needs to escape!

A ruthless cut throat sneaks up behind a poor traveller in the middle of the night and tries to stab his victim a good one in an attempt kill him and take his goods. Oops! Ruthless cutthroat didn't realize said traveller was actually a barbarian with wanderlust that was roaming through the cutthroats lands and possess the senses and reflexes of a feral beast. The barbarian has clobbered the would be cutthroat a good one before the rogue could react! Time to get away! Rogue needs evasion!

A sneaky thief has managed to pilfer a backpack full of magical trinkets from a sorceror that travels with his horse and a powerful magically enhanced "friend" but was seen! He needs to get away! He needs EVASION!

What evasion? The evasion skill is an auto skill that allows a rogue to travel faster then run. You have speed walk/jog/run and evasion, when it works, will allow the rogue to move at run + extra each move that the evasion skill is successfully used.
