Leveling one of my alts and I must say that I spend nearly 80% of melee blind by dirt. My character is acrobatic, yet very seldom dodges this tactic and can never land a dirt against a mob- literally not a single time.

Can we either lessen the average NPC's chance of landing a dirt OR increase our chances to land one back?

I don't understand it. I recently rolled a low dex class, and I had zero issues of being dirted. Then I rolled a sprite and I never got dirted.

yeah, well I am dirted all the time. As if grinding is not hard enough, now I have to be blind while I grind.

I would rather have confuse, and the other related spell removed from all NPCs lower than Master lvl first and foremost.

I don't understand why there isn't special headgear that would have almost no AC value but could prevent dirt kicking. Dirt kick proof goggles!

I would rather keep them all in, but have them balanced.

I could not agree more with you Krowe. Every char I've ever made spends a majority of time with dirty eyes. Maybe if you could just rinse your eyes out with some water. That'd make a lotta sense. But the problem seems to be that the NPCs have one hell of a dirt skill and use it entirely too much. Sometimes especially in Skybolt I have to wait after ever single fight because I have dirt in my eyes. I don't have much problem with confuse being a problem because there's not an over whelming number of NPCs that do it and they're all usually higer level and it's that mage NPC that you probably don't have to kill if you don't want to. In contrast every NPC flings dirt into your eyes from the goblins to the chancel and they're really damn good at it. I think NPC dirt kicking does need wimped.

I agree that NPCs do use dirt kick lots. I wish there were a way to make NPCs more challenging but not a complete pain in the [REDACTED]. Dirt kicking repeatedly is not challenging.

I think the problem is that most NPCs below like expert level that people commonly level on don't really have any "command" skills besides dirt kick, so they just do it over, and over, and over.
