I didn't agree, since I said the entire shape is different. Any humanoid helm would slip right off anytime a griffon wasn't looking directly at the ground.

For the purposes of strapping a helmet into place, the place where the beak connects to the head would be ideal for a "chin."

This does not, however, negate the very real possibility of griffons forging griffon-only helms. As they do, say, weapons and shields.

As far as I know, the best quest item in the game can't be worn by griffons. I don't know if it could scripted so that specific item can but that is the main reason why I want it installed.

That item should just be changed to a belt for griffons.

Well [REDACTED], there's a well reasoned out argument. Because a quest item that you prefer as the "best" can't be worn by griffons they need to be changed.

I can only assume you're talking about the pilgrimage and griffons get their own perk from that quest. In fact I'd rather prefer what griffons get as opposed to races that wear equipment. You can only get one of those but you can get the equipment back as much as you want.

I'd hardly call it a perk. A few throw-away potions vs a piece of gear that gives you a nice boost to stats? Feh. I'd rather RP with those who can see invis and hidden and have a nice piece stat-boost gear. N_g

Last I checked, those potions do alot more than that.

That's great, one shot items vs, a better buff. Great choice.
