Why are these pets in the game and so easily obtained? (Bought in stores..)

Reach, supernatural hide, gstrable / hastable and a pretty good level. Can bash etc. Seems a bit overkill for something so easily attainable.

Since these popped up, I rarely see any other mounts nowadays unless they're scouts.

Nightmares suck...If they were all like Diablo, that'd be fine. But they're not.

Pets in General are overpowered. With a large black horse from Zhenshi, I kid you not, I was able to kill the leader of the Talons at amature level. I was given [REDACTED] because even though I wasn't yet mentor I was engaging in PK and I had an obligation to be identifiable. I can't even remember the person it was I killed but those horses are damn tough. So are the ones from the empire.

Pets in general are overpowered and these ones are prime example of this problem.

I'm suprised those pets are in the game actually, especially after pets in the past with supernatural hide were severely nerfed. i.e. the faerie drakes from Sith'a'niel

The faerie drakes have reach now.

That little dragon is not all that great.
I happened to gain access to the shop last night and tried one, I'd say that their only benefit lays in other, non PK skills.
