Your left arm goes NUMB!
A  male minotaur causes you some slight wounds as his flaming bite singes

Overall, a  male minotaur is in excellent condition.

My question is why in the hell did I stop attacking the second row mage and go for the minotaur when he went invis, shouldn't he have gone vis again once I was hitting him? What is up with this?

You only go vis when you hit. Being hit doesn't break it.

The most likely reason you started hitting the minotaur was because those "foot steps nearby" were the mage walking out of the room.

Umm... no.

If he wasn't engaged in melee, he could have done w;c invis instead and the same thing would have happened except you would have seen where he went. The mino was engaged with you, so the fighting continued.

I thought deep-elfs had innate sneak, so when the mage fled you did not see him do it and continued to fight with the minotaur who was in the mages group. Since deep-elfs have a high int they can concentrate while being attacked with low level spells, so when he began to cast you attacked, he casted invis and like all good sorcs the mage had wimpy at 100 so fled.

Innate sneak does not equal always sneaking. Flee breaks sneak, as well.

Again, since the mage was not engaged in melee combat, he was capable of maintaining invis, and just walking out of the room while invis.

Was the delf behind the minotaur? If so he didn't even have to invis to walk away. Also like they said taking dmg doesn't break invis.
