It's hard to figure out which religious spells are balanced or not because a lot of people haven't seen all of them. But Dulrik has said that he'd be willing to look at logs of the spell being used and one's thoughts on it. I plan on doing this with the Sadr spell which was implemented not too long ago. It'll be rather impossible for me to compare it to other religious spells because I'm rather unaware of most of them.

It would be nice for the cloth>light armor>heavy armor spells to be implemented if it isn't already.

This does not equate to something being done to balance said spells.

I'm pretty sure I've never once been sent a log on this topic. People complaining about religion spells often don't seem to understand exactly what they do or what their drawbacks are. Yes, the Dulrik spell can do some unique things, but it also has a gigantic unique drawback.

D, are you forgetting our hours long PM conversation on the Meissa spell before you just stopped replying to me? There were log snippets included in those showing the efficacy and usefullness of the Meissa spell.

I still and always will maintain that the purpose you see it used for is non-existent in the needs of SK.

Did you actually send a log? I don't remember. I did make changes based on your feedback. Just because the changes weren't the ones that you wanted, it doesn't invalidate the fact that I accepted feedback and acted upon it.

I'm still building my log on the Sadr spell. I want to test it out in varying circumstances first.

Yes, there were logs sections quoted in the PMs at relevant points.

And we addressed the changes as well, didn't we? The entire focus of the spell is useless in the way that SK works, and thus anything that doesn't change the spell from that focus do nothing to make the spell any less useless.

You can aim at a tomato can all you want, but if you actually need to be shooting a target it's not going to do you any good to hit the can dead center.

Dulrik's spell is definitely not the strongest. There's a few religion spells I'd rather have in my repertoire before those. Maybe a half dozen when I think about it. Ain, Marfik, Mira, Thuban, Dabi, and Aludra's religion spells would be much more useful to me in the long run. I like the spell, but its not at all overpowered compared to any of those. I vote to make Meissa's spell uber. I want them all to be uber. I don't think that I'd change many of the others though. I think most of them are great, but I do have all the facts and did see all of them tested and tweaked. Players have misunderstood the use of a few spells, but I'm sure they'll be beefed up if its necessary.
