Uh. We all kinda knew. Darkie priest, with gremlin, etc.

Try a new schtick!

That's the exact sentiment she was hoping to avoid. True, she favors the dark side and priests, but the character was not rolled to be for me or with me.

On topic:

No, taking things directly from banks will only lead to safer coin hoarding.

I didn't know, nor does it really affect me knowing. Shouldn't be a big deal.

As for the subject, I don't see a shop keeper really wanting to take time out of their life to go to the bank with your IOU to collect funds that could be there. If I were the shop keeper, it's money upfront or no goods.

It's dark ages times...they don't have debit cards. Hell no. Huge blow to rogues and highwaymen everywhere too.

And don't give me any of that magic bullcrap either. Some shop keepers are barbarians who do not trust magic and I wouldn't trust a letter of credit from anyone from uxmaln. It's coins or nothing.

Taking coin from a kill is a way of smacking the person you killed without taking loot that might be otherwise hard for them to replace.

Granted, some players can replace any given piece in minutes, but still...

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware it was a secret.

My thoughts exactly.

Not if you loot unique items and keep them.

It also takes time to enchant again. Still, its sad that the only way to get a feeling of 'winning' over someone is destroying/taking his/her loot, and taking solace in the fact that he/she will have to spend hours trying to replace what was destroyed/taken.
