I don't think I've ever heard a more logical, well thought-out idea than this for any other class before until at least five pages into a thread.

I absolutely love it. I wonder what the imms and builders will end up thinking about it.

I agree.

I want to see a scout be able to buy a pet and train it up to be equal to the gorilla, given they spend enough time training it.

Imagine a pet bear from the Circle that you've kept for years as you yourself have leveled...THAT is your companion and should receive bonus' as such.

I can totally see scouts abusing this by creating uber powerful pets.

This sounds almost exactly how Hunters in "World of Warcraft" keep their pets. I like it its a good idea really I would just be afraid of their pets becoming too powerful over time.

I am completely in favor of this idea. Anything that would extend the variety and differentiation in pets can only be a good thing.

I am all for more a larger variety of pets of all statuses useful to scouts. That would solve the need for this code change. The idea itself is great, I just don't know how difficult it would be and think that scouts aren't necessarily in need of the attention from Dulrik when the builders should be able to fill in the gaps.
