I understand the throwing code is cool, but let's limit it to relatively humanoid NPCs, mmkay?

It's supposed to only be humanoid NPCs that throw, it must not actually be a spider.

I bet there's something wrong with either the race type of the NPC, else it's a bug or "feature" in the throw code.

I think you are suppose to 'typo' log NPCs that are incorrectly throwing weapons.

It's not humanoids that can only throw. It's meant to be sentient NPCs that can throw. This NPC was clearly flagged sentient, most likely incorrectly.
