I agree with Kirsenvar. I also agree that what Rifgow did was completely ridiculous and, while it wouldn't have been done by any intelligent and sympathetic player, rare occurrences like this should be prevented so that no egotistical jackass tries it again.

Shackles in prison, plzkthx.

I prefer it the way it is now. Prison is where the miscreants end up. If you don't want to take the chance of getting killed by other prisoners then don't commit crimes.

Alright, let me present this scenario to you then.

Some darkie - a vet barb, for the sake of argument - walks up and, for no reason, attacks you, and let's say you're a jman mage. Since you have a pet, the pet attacks him in your defense.

In this situation, while you committed no crime, the game recognizes that you did because your pet came to your aid.

What then? You've committed no crime, yet you're stuck in jail with the same jerk that attacked you and he decides that, now that you don't have a pet to defend you, he's gonna spam bash you till you're dead.

Let me guess what your response will be. "Sucks to be that mage."

Sounds like a criminal to me.

Yup, shackled to the wall works great. Each person has a 4-foot chain atttached to a leg and nobody can reach another to do harm.

Sorry, Cyra, but if you visit any kingdom with laws against murder or attempted murder you can fall victim to people (notice I didn't call them players) who just want to cause trouble. Amateur comes out and does whatever to cause you to kill him in your own kingdom. You go to jail. Jailed jman logs on and kills you. Rinse. Repeat. I've personally seen this scenario almost work in the last week.

Unfortunately, I believe a hard-code fix needs put in place to prevent the phucktards from continuing to harm players.

You wouldn't happen to be that one-horned minotaur, would you? Or Albert? Or Jayjay?

Sorry, only the people who are convicted of a crime and is in the cell is forced mode stun. Once a convicted person leaves the jail cell they go back to mode kill.
