I don't see how its the code's responsibility to police a kingdom. That's why we have tribunals. If the tribunal isn't up to the job, maybe they need to stop warring.

This argument makes babies cry.

OMG there was a reason why the banish command was changed. Tribunal leaders were abusing the command.

This would just take that abuse to a whole other level.

No they weren't. There was just a faction of players that QQed so hard about them not wanting to be punished in any way whatsoever for the way they RPed their character and Dulrik went with them.

Cyra is referring to the same group of people who break laws in kingdoms and then instantly surrender before tribunal leaders can log on, or who use mode stun so they have 'assault and battery' and let their one -already banished- friend to get the last hit.

No, you vacuous airhead.

More along the lines of Fepel and Muktar.

They also got the brilliant change of you not being able to be outlawed for attacking tribunal members unless you kill them.

I would have sworn Cyra removes all his eq, drops it in his cabal HQs, surrenders, serves his time, grabs his lewt again and he's once more free to roam the kingdom he has committed a crime in.

I could have been mistaken, but then again locate object is one hell of a spell that allows you to pretty much figure out what characters do in SK.

How the [REDACTED] can you use the arguement that deathmark and banish can be abused, so they shouldn't work properly. So much [REDACTED] in SK can be abused, we have a plethora of rules that aren't enforced by any sort of code in the game, just an honor system. IE, don't kill noobs, don't patrol leveling zones, [REDACTED] like that. Knowing that if people do end up abusing deathmark/banish its going to affect us all equally and fairly, I don't see what people have against it. And yes, when you put the title - Lich of the necropolis, you can expect immediet banishes and deathmarks in taslamar, ayamao, and zhenshi. This is a game that strives for realistic roleplay, something banish and deathmark completely upholds. Whereas not being able to banish known enemies is blatantly ooc and knocks you out of the roleplaying world and into a stupid [REDACTED] world that limits what you can do via code.

The one thing that could possibly make me quit SK for good is this stupid law system. I can only assume those of you who are vouching for the current law system have never attempted to defend a city when 90% of your enemies are not outlawed and cannot be. The entire law system is in shambles right now, and Dulrik -refuses- to accept it.

Someone should start a poll and see how many people think the law system is legit, and how many people think its the most ooc blight to hit sk in forever.

Uhhhh . . . I was happy that deathmark left, but like I said before for the first couple or 3 yrs I started this game I didn't check the forums. Which was when deathmark was changed.

I am pretty sure that it was changed because of people like you though. Mainly because you are an OOC bastard by abusing the system on both sides of the law.

I no longer play, and when did I ever do this? :o

I have never complained for or against changes in the legal system.

I'd rather the people abusing the system be tribunal leaders, rather than the criminals like it is now. Does anyone else disagree?

Basically i'd rather a few people be outlawed who don't nessasarily deserve to be, than a bunch of people running free who deserve to be outlawed. Keep in mind that if your banish is unwarranted than you can get it overturned.
