I sent an idea log in game for this, but figured I might post it here also. Just kinda curious why a griffon classes that uses shields are given a non griffon buckler? Can this be changed so that their buckler is usable, kinda silly that they would be given a item which they can't even use. Also, curious about the trust fund, or is there somewhere I can go to read about that?

You are carrying:
     a single gold coin
a round practice buckler (brand new)
     a waterskin

Your claws can't get a grip on it.

Once you hit novice you'll be able to withdraw 1 plat from the bank. That is your 'trust fund'.

Can't comment on the shield other than if they are given one you'd think they'd be able to wield it.

It'd be nice if they got a practice vest as well. Or for griffon scouts if you got a bow you could actually wield.

There are griffon torso items sold and every other race out there that I have played has started with a vest. Why are griffons the only race singled out?

Griffons can't wear armor on their body, only about their body. And they used to be able to wield the bows they started with as scouts.

Griffons couldn't wear it, even if they had it.

Shut up griffon hater. Just because you and D hate griffons, doesn't mean that everyone who enjoys the RP and enjoys playing a griffon needs to get shafted.
