Are humans by -far and away- the best melee race in the game?

It is less. I agree even if humans did receive a weakness, that weakness itself is too high. It should be 125% instead of 150%. Also, elves and delves should have more wisdom than sprites.

Real.Quick.Whoever.Said.Griffon.Toughness.Should.Be.Doubled.Is.Out.Of.Their.Mind.

Simply.Put.Griffons.If.They.Need.Anything.Need.Only.a.few.tweaks.

1.Make.Their.Bonuses.To.REF/FORT/WILL.from.stats.be.somewhere.around.double.to.triple.that.of.other.races.this.takes.advantage.of.their.high.stat.line.and.extra.stat.points.even.for.classes.that.don't.use.wis.or.dex.or.whatever.and.allows.them.to.continue.being.somewhat.unique.people.that.just.want.a.bunch.more.eq.slots.boggle.my.mind.

2.Get.Rid.Of.All.The.Random.Acid.Cold.Resist.garbage.Keep.the.Poison.Immunity.and.give.them.the.magic.resistance.every.other.magical.race.has.like.Halfings/Sprites.etc.

3.If.You.Wanted.To.Have.them.get.a.racial.dam.bonus.to.hand.to.hand.it.wouldn't.be.the.worst.thing.in.the.world.either.

There.It's.Done.The.Only.Other.Thing.I'd.possibly.Suggest.is.part.of.an.across.the.board.boost.to.Con.this.would.help.other.races.too.but.griffons.would.get.a.boost.as.well.

As.Far.As.Elves.Half-elves.Deep.elves.go.it.sounds.like.overall.damage.might.drop.a.bit.soon.that.combined.with.perhaps.a.few.tweaks.would.makes.them.all.just.fine.

1.Drop.The.Bonus.to.All.Weakness.a.borderline.trivial.amount.1.5.to.1.4.or.at.lowest.1.25

2.Simply.make.the.weaknesses.apply.to.damage.only.not.additional.affects.IE.Color.spray.would.hurt.more.but.have.the.same.chance.of.blinding.anyone.same.thing.for.BoG.and.such.
