I couldn't help but think outland trips either, mostly depending on how serious the hit penalty is of course.

Magma spray always had a reflex save associated with it. To stop double damage and sticky

W/out MP affecting it it will probably end up being totally OP, considering that even MR is not affecting it.

But after a couple of PKs it will be changed back to being affected by MP probably, especially if some centaur ends up getting hit by it.

I have a question though. If it ignores MP as it's coded, that means it ignores MP penalties also? Meaning a naked centaur barbarian and a naked furied centaur barbarian will take the same amount of damage? Or will the furied one get more damage?

Bash really isn't the reason melee weapons do so much damage now, thats like a small small part of the problem.

I'll just go ahead and quote magma sprays helpfile so you can all see why magma needed a buff.

The way it was before, FoD, Harm, and even Acid Blast were miles better than Magma.

Although, I don't have a warlock anymore. I thought this was definitely a good change. I just hated how I could spend my entire mana on casting it and they wouldn't die. It was annoying.

Are the racial magical resistances (which are actually magical protections as I understand it) applicable to magma spray?
