I also believe that non sentient NPC should be unable to butcher or skin or cast. Yet its done. And how often have you seen a horse butcher a corpse and not blink once.

I definitely agree with this. How difficult would it be to implement an emote beforehand:

Quote:
A large black horse blinks once in surprise.
A large black horse butchers a corpse and carves up some steaks.

Simple enough, right?

Oh I blinked more than once, and then quickly used the tactic as well.

The jump fix for sneak is lost after the first battle. Prance would look better than jump. Rest of the fix is good.

Edit: Sorry no the jump thing is there he just won't jump while mounted.

I don't mind animals that are able to make steaks out of the dead. A) These aren't real steaks. This is just carved up portions of meat.

B)Now I understand, "But horses are vegetarians!" Yes, that is correct. I think it is actually a strong boost to the newbs in SK to be able to easily find food. Nothing is more depressing as a newb to be stuck in the valley between Exile and Sith and only being able to move one league before running out of breath or waiting upteen million hrs waiting for your PE to get up to max, due to being hungry.

Just leave it as it is. I do agree with the arrow thing though. If you want a NPC to make you arrows, either join a trib or charm one.

I like my horse being able to butcher. Whenever I kill someone, my demon horse eats the corpse.

In the way that like... horses making arrows is ridiculous?

NPCs have a class.

Pets are NPCs (in a way).

Pet have a class.

Classes have skills.

Pets have skills.

This pet is a scout.

Scouts can fletch.

This pet can fletch.

What's hard to understand?

If you don't want pets to butcher or fletch or camo or whatever, don't make them that class.

QED.

They are scouts cause scouts have pathfinding, which makes travel easier. Would you rather they were classless and and travel was crappier?

Well if a horse and I fought I probably couldn't beat the horse. But I can in SK. I've also never seen a flying horse, I think flying horses are also ridiculuos. Hell arrows might grow on trees and my horse or cat pet might just be thiefing them.

I'm not saying it's not ridiculuos, just handy. Never used the pet in question, but I have sat around with a buyable pet running it out of PE for hours to get enough arrows to master crossbow on a merc when I couldn't find a scout and buy arrows is ridiculuosly expensive for practice.
