If your priority is only "omg how much I will own with my guard NPCs in pvp" then again I'll say what a sad state the game has reached. RP never comes up in discussion anymore, just how much one tribunal owns the other.

And how does it hurt RP if we balance out the different tribunal NPCs? They can still have the same names/descriptions - the only thing it would do would be to make people choose the tribunal that fit, instead of a powerful one.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Can I ask why law NPCs across the board aren't limited to playable PC race/class combination? You know, no air elementals, giant swashies, or supernatural hide races?

Doesn't that make sense to anyone else?

I've said it in the CoN forum, I've said it here as well, I'm all for these three NPCs to be changed with 3 champ lvl giant barbarians(like the 2534242 champ lvl NPCs Ayamao/Exile get). Don't you want them to be three? Make it one champ barbarian and make the all the lvl 30 ones master+ level, just like Exile for example?

The ability to equip NPCs is really powerful if you know what and how to do it, a group of 4 GM lighties(2 paladins in them) came yesterday in Moraksdal only to die to expert lvl giant undead because I've given them enchanted flamberges/greataxes.

If those in Keepers/Talons/MC/GoA took the time and effort to prepare their NPCs, they'd all have far more powerful guards than what CoN gets now. FAR more powerful.

But I guess it's the general mentality in SK right now that preparation in all its forms is a bad thing and people want to turn it in a rezplzkthx;rush-into-PK;die;repeat process(especially considering changes like making spells not affected by enchantments for example).

I learned to play SK in a different way, in a way that preparation is half the victory(enchantments, potions, buffs etc). And I learned that the hard way, after losing a lot of battles. I guess most people fail to understand that basic logic though.

Died to the armed level 30 NPCs while the aforementioned level 37 barbarian lawmob tanked two battle-spear wielding mercs for around three times as long as any PC could've.

A champ lvl barbarian wielding a flamberge would actually tank equally well and actually deal some more sick damage also.

Oh yeah, and a BoG wouldn't cause him to flee.

D-A, you're such an idiot. The CoN is overpowered, so your solution is to what, make them even more overpowered? I guess we're lucky the CoN KD isn't Algorab. If you want 3 champ level NPCs the CoN needs to lose ALL their sorc NPCs.

Syndal, fine. Give CoN then 23542342 champ lvl paladins to buff up. Oh wait, paladins don't make sense. I'd be fine with 23452432 champ lvl priest NPCs and finally the ability get sanctuary from tribunal NPCs, a very basic buff EVERY tribunal but CoN get.

Nope, you know what you need? 25432534 champ level necros. There you go, you can even raise a bunch of wights. Have fun, it is the Council of NECROMANCERS.

Necromancers can't really buff, and that's pretty much the reason people join tribunals. Sick free buffs.

D-A, whatever. Most tribunals get 1 or 2 priest NPCs, not 50+ like the CoN. It's really hard to be able to have a NPC spare the concentration for sanc when there's only 1 priest and you want prayer/lighten load/armor.
