Laying waste to exile doesn't take any real effort (unless they got new NPCs since I played Ace).

And not to mention, necromancers were just nasty prior to the ethereal bounty NPCs.

They'd walk in with six or so (use to be more, but you could really just do this with six and six is easily holdable nowadays) undead, cause a bunch of problems, and if pcs started attacking and the necromancer felt threatened, zap <insert the easily attainable ethereal wand that's also relatively cheap!> and safe to keep ordering. And then they could either a. recall or b. walk out because none of the NPCs could touch them.

And that's what I'd like to see again, I don't think NPCs should have to do players jobs for them. As side support NPCs are fine, keeping a sentinel around and ordering him to holy word against necromancers is all fine and dandy. But when bounty NPCs alone can chase a player out of a country, that seems a bit [REDACTED] to me. What's the point of a tribunal then?

If a necromancers/sorceror is pillaging your city, man up and deal with that [REDACTED] yourself. Don't sit back knowing your bounty NPCs will take care of it in due time.

You talk as if tribunals are all active 24/7.

:/

They cities that people actually bother killing in all have active tribunals.

Nobody cares about Nerina. :\

Eh, my expert sorc was some four years ago (or more), when haste was awesome. Yes, I would lay waste to a city with nothing more than a hasted brutal minotaur. I also didn't use ethereal to achieve this, as I was a helf and couldn't hold eth + charm very long.

I don't see Keepers on every single moment of the day, Sypher.

Nor would I expect the CoN to be on every single moment of every day.

That doesn't mean all players are defenseless, you don't have to be in a tribunal to look after yourself. CoN usually does have someone on just about all the time though.

Just like the NPCs in Cabal HQ's. I think the spawn rate of bounty NPCs should be scaled by the number of Trib people online at that time.

Also, just get rid of the bounty NPCs in the wild, period.

Gnimral talks reasonably because he has seen both sides of a tribunal. Both a tribunal with normal number of members and I guess one with too many. Sypher don't judge all tribunals with the sick numbers of active members the con has now and mostly the alignment of its members. The ethereal NPCs are one of the best changes I have seen. Gnimral forgot to mention the >w;w;w;w;w;....w;w;w from kingdom to kingdom to kingdom from a sorcerer/necro raping the tribunal economy in less than a few seconds. Two tribunal members, especially of a lighty kingdom, have to defend against a group of 6 or more. Many times their only help is the tribunal NPCs and hunters. The only really bad thing I see about this is the necro ownage.
