I just never had respect for that sort of thing, but that's me.

As for WoW, ebay your chars before wotlk comes out or your full epic loot will be outclassed by lv 72 blue crap. Happened to me with tbc. From the server's top druid and the only one with a full naxramas set, to just another druid wearing blue crap dropped from random NPCs in the outlands.

I'll not be too thrilled to see another 'kavalimeno kalami' like you return to SK, but in all honesty, your RP skills make me overlook that, from time to time.

But just from time to time, mind you :P

Ah yes I guess I should apologize for feeding certain people what they deserved and were asking for, God forbid you mess up with the wrong people and get schooled because of it, if you care to read above I said I was never much for PK, I don't understand where your drivel comes from.

As to the 'kavalimeno kalami' comment, I really have no idea who you are, or who you think you are, or where you get those comments and ideas from, but I assure you I have absolutely no intention to come back to SK, mostly because the game is taken OOC too far for my taste.

I am very secure about my RP skills to not need a pat on the back from anyone, let alone someone I don't know...

Oh and selling chars is not an option, I respect the effort I put into them too much to throw it away for some money, even if the account would fetch a good sum with all the stuff it has on it.

I beg to differ here, but you can be as IC as you want to be. I've found out that playing completely unaware of who is who makes the game ^3 more fun.

SK has evolved a lot since the days you played and I think you would like the challenge.

(Oh, and I simply cannot understand people who play mmo's and are too bored of leveling a char in SK...)

Maybe it's because levelling a character in an MMO is an active experience. In SK all you do is type Kill NPC and then watch TV or read the forums or something until it dies then type Kill NPC again. Most of my time levelling in SK is spent NOT looking at SK itself.

When I came back to SK I kept myself a complete secret and I must agree it makes the game 10x better. Just don't get involved with all the OOC bullcrap that goes on over YIM and you'll be ok dude seriously.

I owe everything I know to the old school harlies though I'm still learning. Dimmel, Revin, Krok, Inzy, zinfalas, That one sprite of sadal I can't remember, Xvasiar, and Peso, who still helps me out from time to time.

That's considered old school these days?

...wow...I'm speechless.

I'd have to say that the biggest impacts on me when I began were Aliquiente, Glyx, Gailard, Lyra, and Arianas. They taught me...quite patiently I might add...how to rp and get around in the world.

As far as learning mechanics, it was trial by fire for me. Since I had everyone and their momma out to spam kill me...I really don't know why...I had to learn quick or die constantly. Loquiendi, emyn, takarin, and jerin were especially troublesome at the time. I do owe them the gratitude of becoming a master of escape.

Krayce's rogue (thalin?) and pionex666's dwarf barb Vore helped refine my sneaky-mean bastard techniques.

Olac was always a good rp influence on me too. Gaal to a smaller extent.

The rest I just picked up over time on my own really.

PS:

Finney did say something years ago in his Lorzatu days that I took to heart at the time. It was something along the lines of "It's easier to let someone else go through all the trouble of running around getting all the elite equipment and then killing them for it than it is to go get it yourself."

No wonder you level so slowly in SK, newbie. :P

Everan actually taught me a thing or to as well now that I think back on it. Mostly about RP. He's very good at that. I can't use his real name and I won't say what he used to call himself, but he's good rper.
