Currently a bunch of sheep could follow one leader into PvP, once someone attacks, everyone follows suit with a huge round or two. Attention isn't required, players just type in bash and it's enough to kick bottoms and chew bubble gum.

It is worth to note that removing it would significantly change the face of PvP in SK, and sanctuary and intimidation may need to be rebalanced. It would however, as discussed, potentially slow down combat and eliminate those big auto assist rounds.

Maybe we could use a poll.

The auto assist in group fights is devastating.

Only if you add an assist command for blinded fighters.

Add an assist command for everyone, just make it so that people actually have to -do- something. Hell, you can PK while AFK with auto-assist.

Something like Joe attacks Bob, Joe's buddy Jim has to type "assist joe" or maybe "help joe" or something and he jumps into the fight. If people are so worried about Sanctuary/whatever, make it so that doing that doesn't break it.
