Trust me, dwarf priests are beyond help. Lets not drag their problems into this.
It isn't useless.

Ever seen a priest with a siege crossbow? It actually can hurt, go figure.

Dwarf priests (Even though they are bad) could also easily benefit from this with axes, I'm sure. Just two thoughts.
They are already doing more melee damage than other priests anyways. Besides they are also the "exception". It should be based on the "norm".

All priests can use crossbows and polemaces. That is what second attack is (primarily) for.

Siege crossbows actually do hurt if you have the stats for it, unless you're perhaps a dwarf or gnome. (Size small) And if you're a gnome, you're obviously trying to be more spell-based anyway.

How is my reasoning hard to follow on this? Not every skill has to be expertly placed just for leveling purposes. There is more to the game than leveling.

The end.

Lvling to journeyman isn't suppose to be hard. Currently it is for priests.

It is, actually, for priests, considering what the imms are saying. Its not hard, its just boring.

Once more, it's not. It's harder than a barbarian but not harder than a warlock for example.

If I actually cared, I probably would be able to hit journeyman with a barb under 15hrs. If that. I might even be able to do it under 10.

Well, I can do that with a priest, and all I do is hit stuff with a mace and heal myself/undead :/

Twinks knowing where to lvl doesn't count. I only know of two places with undead under journeyman. One is for initiate and the other is for journeyman itself. Nothing else (that is sensible) pops up in the area command.
