Start combat with shocking grasp to hurt their reflex, that should make them save less against your bolts.

lightning bolt is fine. Locks seem fine to me so far, lvling is at a decent pace.

If you are trying to train with lightning bolt, I would say that you don't know how to lvl a warlock. There are only 2 spells you need to level as a warlock (unless you are beating up on giants): burning hands, earthquake.

Lightning bolt is fine now. Glad it got the dmg boost.

I like the change to shocking grasp, great idea!
Lightning bolt seems to be more balanced from what I've seen so far.
Do either of these changes affect chain lightning at all?

Any ideas for earthquake?

I'd like a "dig" cantrip for my warlock, so I don't have to carry a damn shovel around! :D

Lightning bolts dmg is weather controlled, make the right weather, it'll do the right dmg :)

Um, I think Peso has Call Lightning confused with Lightning Bolt.

However, lightning bolt is indeed fine now. The only problem with it before was that it sucked horribly when used to level.

I'm 99.99% sure Call Lightning is the only spell in the game affected by the weather. Which brings up the question of why even have weather in the game? Just to annoy people?

And Warlocks get no use out of Control Weather, except to lessen annoyance. Despite the fact that it is still annoying to have to waste mana to fix the weather.
