Back on the thread, though. About Chzzrym, yes. It is a bit too much like menzoberranzan but that's not necessarily bad. IMO, if matrons are changed to just leaders of noble houses, instead of just following the exact same pattern as those books, it will be a lot less obvious.

The love for spiders down there could also be changed, as there is no spider-related goddess the delves favor. There isn't even a deep-elf patron deity anymore, as yenko used to be.

Of course the problem would be, who would put such an amount of effort down in order to 'tweak' something that generally doesn't much bother people.

Well. If an imm would gather up some people to re-write some descriptions for rooms and NPCs, I'd be interested in helping.

I think Ch'zzrym is awesome, in all ways. Quite frankly I'd rather a spider diety was added than change the city.

Here's me volunteering to even play the Imm!

Yeah, you better leave Ch'zzrym the way it is, less you want a very angry Lolth unleashing all her spidery wrath on you. Actually, Yenko and previously Lorani were both arachnophiliacs. One more reason the Sadr concept sucks.

Wouldn't Sadr like, um, enjoy dying? =/ Maybe Dabi can like cut off her fingers one at a time, then her toes too, then start chopping limbs off at each joint, going higher, and then stab spikes into her eyes! o.o
