I would think if 2 seekers a month pass by the 2 week 'consideration point' for being invested and they've yet to be able to contact a HF in game, then something beyond the 'activity=30 hours' needs to be reviewed for leadership status.

I believe it would be prudent then for followers to keep track of seekers on the religion forums. That way the staff can monitor lack of leadership and be able to assist in any necessary investments/discussions with those leaders to determine if the flag needs to change/how to do it ICly.

My thoughts.

There is no "2-week-rule" for religions.

From What I've seen, if a faith has a semi-inactive HF, it's usually because there isn't a better candidate for the spot. Auto-stripping F3 would only make the problems caused by a semi-active leader worse.

Also keep in mind that leaders have different hours.

I'm American, which generally means I have to be notified of European players playing at their peak hours to grab them.

Players can also always pray up to the God for their choice too.

Priests, paladins, and hellions are the ones that have to be invested immediately, we get a little more leeway with laymen.

Or maybe... the IMMs just take the intiative to add more than 2 F3s to cover the hours if possible...

When I was the HP of Algorab we had three F3s. That was pretty neat. A high priest, a high knight and a high "layman".

This was standard before 2004. 4 F3's in each religion. Priest - Pallie/Hellion - Layman. Then it was removed.

It's been several months since the last update edit of the locked sticky. Can we have a new update?

Six weeks isn't several months.

I could see where people would be confused:

He'd typed in that the last edit was 6/1/8, but for whatever reason the last time the post time was updated was back a few months.

That text only updates when Alshain edits his own post. When I edit it, it doesn't update for some reason. Probably some minor bug that happens when two different moderators edit each other's posts.
