You just need to have a trigger that you activate mid pk once your bashed. I doubt anyone is going to get caught using this trigger. Also, bash was designed originally to be a way for warriors to keep enemies down. Since I first started playing sk this is what bashed was designed for. Now trip is the best way at keeping people down, since when you trip someone you don't get lagged for doing so, and can easily spam trip to keep them down.

P.S. Please stop complaining about melee damage. People without their defensive spells get raped by melee, its been this way for years and years. Suddenly people are getting lazy or something and not using their defensive spells. Not to mention its hard to say melee damage is OP when everyone is always aggressive and significant bonus damage every time they are hit.

I guess you all just wish it was the good old days when giants could literally 3 shot 75% of players. Old head shots from giants did what, 25+%?

Rofl, I hope everyone sets that trigger. Then I can send tell tank You regain your feet. and laugh when he flees or quaffs words and screws the rest of the group.

I hope you guys realize that triggers have come a long way since 1997 and now can actually be coded to be un"abusable"

They haven't discovered how to class their triggers yet apparently ;-)

I definitely like the new prone better, and I'm playing a melee class. Firstly, it makes escaping from NPCs a LOT easier (Not sure if that was an intended effect) and also, unless you input more than three commands after you get bashed, the lag will not extend past your bashed time. It's an incentive to slow down and think.

I am a bit annoyed at the fact that triggers are very "abusable" in this case, but hopefully that will not happen much.

Personally I love the new prone system with the added message telling you when you're no longer bashed or your opponent is no longer bashed. Makes triggering events that much easier.

Not hard to set a class, and have a trigger turn it off and on or you can do it manually so an Imm doesn't get bored and tries to trigger your own script and spank you. Then it just boils down to lag.

Did the rule about triggers change or does everyone just not care to admit they use them?

I have never heard of triggering being illegal before. It isn't written anywhere to my knowledge.

Regardless, because triggering is nearly impossible to catch, it's a big mistake to have code changes that permit it to actually be useful. The beauty of SK is that triggering really doesn't help at all in PK - until now.
