You begin to sing.
You sing: Pyrathia, your peace is heard,
Aise looks very drowsy.
An infant male human looks very drowsy.
A sable-black bay destrier looks very drowsy.
Herthem looks very drowsy.
A frail male deep-elf looks very drowsy.
A sable-black bay destrier looks very drowsy.
Selucia looks very drowsy.
A silver-winged pegasus looks very drowsy.
A prepossessing male human looks very drowsy.
A weathered male dwarf looks very drowsy.
You sing: Because of the slumber, at my word.

[HP: 72%] [ME: 53%] [PE: 99%]

You hear foot steps nearby.

A cloud of gnats buzzes around a colorless female centaur.

Instead of making this its own thread, I'll just put it here.

I thought I was imagining things, or overestimating Songs of Sleep, buuut!

Quote:
<Bard who's been around for a while> says to you 'Yeah. A shame too. It's one of the more useful songs, though it doesn't seem to work as I remember it working when I was younger. It doesn't seem to slow down foes as much any more.'

When I sing songs of sleep and fight something, it doesn't seem to make a noticeable difference at all. I had one NPC attacking 4 times before singing sleep, and still getting 4 after I started singing/dancing(and yes, the NPC was affected). Did Songs of Sleep get ninja-wimped or something?

I wasn't going to say anything because I don't have any personal experience with it, but it's not just me!

The song never affected maximum number of attacks, just the chance of whether you would get any specific attack. Glanced at the code and I don't see that I made any changes.

So, it does what, reduces your chance to get fourth/third/second attacks?
