Rofl, trust me, I made a bard knowing full well I am going to die a lot. It's the most fragile class in SK. And I've pretty much sucked except when I played the sturdiest class in SK(shaman).

Bard is by far not the most fragile class in SK. :P

It is to me. Every other class is either sturdy themselves, or has extremely easy access to a buff [REDACTED] pet(sorc/necro/scout) and good defensive spells(sorc/priest).

The only thing that even comes close IMO, is rogue. But then, who wants to [REDACTED] off a rogue, when they can almost kill a GM addy wearing merc with backstab?

But hey, guess I'll see! Since I'm not deleting.

Learning dodge would probably keep me alive longer.

I dunno, bard HP pools are simply horrible, and they only get light armor and NO defensive spells. The only thing they get is tumble.

I think a bard is the hardest character to try and keep alive. Anyone with wands is kinda easy, priests get sanc/prot/word of recall, shamans are sick tanks, and most other classes get heavy armor. Rogues might be first or second easiest to kill, right next to bards.

EDIT: And wtf, train dodge! That crap will save your life against backstab. Maybe.

I've played a few bards, most of which were fairly badass.

I'll answer the question even though it was to Edoras. The difference is this, you can easily find most wands. You can even buy most good wands. You can't buy good scrolls, nor find them. You have to hunt someone down to make them.
