Yes, you can make people eat/quaff things. You can make them fight another person/NPC (although you are flagged for the crime for some stupid reason). You can make them say something (the extreme lag makes the rp of this fairly useless). There isn't much beyond that.

You aren't flagged for the crime you persuaded them to do, you're flagged for the crime of attempting to murder/mug the person you persuaded, because persuade is considered an aggressive action.

Yet, if you taunt someone, the person that you taunt is flagged for the aggressive action.

As far as I recall, you CAN persuade people to drop stuff. DA has it right, "all" doesn't work with persuade at all.

No. You can't persuade anyone to drop anything, even without using the "all" qualifier. This was from two days ago when I gave a quest item to a NPC too quickly.

Persuade was changed a while back because people were persauding and junking other pc's items. (as I recall that's why D changed it then)

Yes, but, you can persuade one player to attack another one, and therefore the skill is great. You can also do this while ethereal, which is why the skill is absurd in the hands of a good player.

Unless you are part of a certain cabal, you will still be tagged for a crime. While, I know of some really sick uses of it, I just don't think that it is worth it most of the time.

I think this extends to other group commands like position and disband. I'm not 100% on that, but I think it does.
