How about an idea to this anchoring problem? This is drawing from the monster that got put at Spire. Whoever put this in, a big belated thank you.

At strategic places in SK, we will get a series of quests at the starting area. Take Desert Spire for example. There's already an anchor there. Now these series of quests will take players to complete certain divisions of this whole area - Plane of Earth, Plane of Air, and so on. Once completed, they will either learn keywords that can be gated to, or used at a portal device at the beginning of the area for fast travel.

This idea isn't original but that may work in SK.

Ok...Well you may want to work on getting that across better cause I can assure you

This is true. Wind out over the ocean and sometimes on the edges of the contigous continent are ridiculous. Storm winds should not last more than a few game hours before becoming a howling rain storm and then a gentle storm and then pass within a day or do. Sustained 60mph winds over RL days over large tracts of lands is a problem. Griffons trying to get to griffon isle encounter this a lot. :(
