Anyone else think that you should be able to order your pets to leave whatever group they're in? Asking group leaders to eject your pets is so tacky.

Peace,
Bux

Yes. Or, pets (anything with a charmed to you flag) should automatically leave a group when you do.

I would think.. thats more of a issue in the way charm works.
Where as even if you order them to "leave" it would give them the message "You should let your master make those decisions for you."

Its not too hard to get group leaders to eject something, but I would not complain if a charm would leave the group when you did. Considering they would not follow the group if you're not in it.

I like the idea that your charm/pet leaves the group when you do. I also wouldn't mind if you automatically formed a group if you had a charm/pet and you left another group. Something like when you buy a pet.

But to the main point, I have sat around waiting for some link-dead PC to reconnect so I could get my pet back. The main point of the thread, uitilizing the alternate suggestion, would seem to alleviate this issue.

Quit/log back in in the room with the pet.

I like the idea to be able to order your pet to "leave" the group. The pet should not automatically leave the group when you do, though, for various reasons. The ones mentioned by DA are some.

As a scout... I have to encourage this proposal.
