In the space of only a round and a half I was able to order another bash - my bison didn't have to wait the normal 3-4 rounds that a player would to stand up from its bash. There is no 'you can't do that' message for successfully hitting a bash for a NPC, but there is for a player?

Bug or not a bug, up to Dulrik to decide. But notice that through the use of this I can order multiple bashes in a short space of time assuming I kill my target.

The actual lag for the basher is about 2 rounds anyway, just like the bison in this log. The lag for the one bashed is about 3-4 rounds on the other hand.

I don't see a bug here.

I would like to see a message on the basher being able to stand up again then so we can both have more knowledge mid-battle of something that should be obvious IC and so we can tell if future "bugs" happen.

The basher is not entering a prone position anyway, so there is no message to show you that. He is just lagged, like the good old OP bash. :P

I mean..I consider myself in the top tier of 'reading through battle spam' in this mud, and I find myself having trouble counting to six for four different people all bashing at different times over the course of 10 seconds.

But that would add another message people could trigger, the very thing you were complaining about in another thread.

True, it would. It's why I strongly recommend returning to the old form of bash in which one could spam commands and not be lagged by it, as opposed to prone which lags you when you type in a command you cannot do.

Yeah, but the old bash also stacked all commands you entered -while- bashed. The new form makes it infinitely easier to stay alive, even -if- you have a horrible habit of stacking over 5 commands while fighting.

Stop it Gilgon. I would expect such a complain by a newbie, but you? Just cut it out. Shhh...
