I fixed a minor bug on the "deceit" items. Is the strange behavior still happening? (I haven't been successful at duplicating it.)

Yeah, you think the Meissa suit being made out of silk is terrible? Last I checked, the Sadr suit was made out of flame. Was that ever changed? When I had a character in the church there were quite a few of us petitioning for a change.

We petitioned for a change in the Meissa's equipment, too, to help accomodate a wider selection of characters, and to make the suit less annoying (every object glows on repop. There are like two or three echoes for the armor, and sometimes during a tick they'll all go off at once. Plus the whole lack of torso armor and script thing.) However, the only thing that got changed is that the belt (which was made of adamantite) was changed to energy.

Since that was the main concern, I've been all smiles and I don't think I'm even going to bother petitioning further. I haven't been very active anyway lately since one of my colleagues quit and I've taken most of her hours.

Good luck to all the people trying to make a change in their sacred EQ for the happiness of a broad variety of players instead of just themselves.

It was actually leather.. which makes it even worse. The whole set was supposed to be changed to energy, but changing the belt was good enough.

Oh, right, leather. Either way, it sucked.

All sacred suits should be energy.

I think...

Heavy armor Religion Should Be Adamantite.
Light armor Religion should be Mithril / Energy (perferably energy, because mithril damages easy and energy is just good :P)
Cloth armor Religion should be Energy

Coding is not my expertise, but what about the body pieces change when worn by different classes in the faith. So that classes that can wear heavy get heavy armor versions, light armor classes get light armor and so on. The weapon slots as those should probably stay the same regardless of who picks them up though.

I agree. I admit that I don't know the official story behind the sacred armor as far as RP goes (I think someone already mentioned that it was severely downplayed or somesuch), but I reckon sacred objects are things woven of magic and divine power. It would make sense, to me, that since the armor is sacred, it should also be extremely special as far as quality goes, as well as enormously unique.

They should be treated like gifts to the most faithful, powerful people in the church, who they might feel would be worthy of fine and powerful equipment in acknowledgement and thanks for their service (or like a promise of the false illusion of even more finery and power, for the darkie religions, the gods of whom are less likely to reward but more likely to use flattery/trickery in exchange for mortal souls).

Perhaps I'm being a little dramatic, but I've always had a romantic view of the sacred armor. I wasn't privy to what really happened, so I got to make up possibilities.

You guys are off-topic. This is a bug thread about problems with the Sacred EQ scripts. Sadr posted earlier asking for more information to try to help solve the problem and seems to have been ignored. If you want to whine about your various suit materials, there have been other threads about that which you can easily revive.
