are you telling me that it is not? Switch from telnet to simpleMU or zMUD or MushClient and then back to telnet. Then you will understand!

I've always wanted to use VT and I actually have never figured out to make it work right without distorting everything. Suggestion?

Looks like your VT size is too big maybe. Did you VT EXTEND? Need that as well.

Yea. Just isn't working quite right. And vt <number> no matter the number, doesn't do anything.

I'm really not sure what's going on. Your client VT compliant? I often feel I'm the only one using VT here. I would be soooo lost without it.

Bear in mind that very few clients will switch back to "normal mode" (ie, non-VT) properly. Best to turn it off, then close-and-reopen your client to ensure it's not still messed up from the VT settings used previously.

As for what VT should look like in theory, something like this -
http://www.shatteredkingdoms.org/gfx/vt.gif

But it is dependent on your telnet client's VT100 emulation features, which in our experience have been implemented across a wide range from perfect to atrocious. Hence why it isn't pushed much as a feature of SK: only for the intrepid, really.
