Yes. Looking at their eq, the way they act, what pet they have, etc. Just about any veteran here can spot the difference between a low level vet and a newbie.

Basically what Gilgon is saying here is regardless of what his character might think IC he will take harsh OOC action against anyone who poses a threat.

No, I'm saying that regardless of what my character thinks IC about how dangerous a player is, the only time I will stop my character from acting as he would think best is when I recognize a player is a newbie and doesn't understand how to interact in SK. Otherwise, I will treat everyone equally.

Although again, if you call killing someone already stunned a PK, well, I guess that says a little something about your PK ability
