I've always seen paladins as merc/priests and hellions as merc/necros. Because of that I say no to hellions getting holy word. If anything I'd rather they get create food and call armor, maybe even vampiric touch since they don't get any healing spells.

I'd go for no crit cleave and vampiric touch. Nobody can play hellions well but the very top-notch PKers. That's really not the case for any other class.

Once you include necromancers, paladins, priests, bards, and shaman to your list your comment seems assanine.

Just leave hellions alone. A drop in dominate concentration is the only thing they might night.

Priests--bullshit. Loads of people play priests well.
Necromancers--it's not so much that they're hard as much as no one knows how to use them. I'm not about to try.
Shamans--Bullshit. See above.
Paladins--Jesus, even Tirn can do stuff with a paladin.
Bards--okay, bards are up there too.
