Well, I don't like this idea really. But it does make alot of sense, actually now that I've begun this post I'm starting to like it.

I mean in D & D you can specialize in types of magic. There's illustionist and abjuration specialist and all kinds of stuff. Same with priests. There are priest of different spheres and stuff. Anyone who's played D & D table top recently or neverwinter nights 2 knows this.

Well, actually priests are already kind of specilists now if you look at the new religion spells and the spheres of their gods. THey are all priests but they have different faiths and different specialities. Healing for Meissa, elementalism for Yed, that sort of thing.

I donno where I stand on this. It's a good idea in theory but I don't know if it works on SK. I mean what kind of specialist barbarians will you have? Survial specialists who track really well and butcher really well? As oppsed to berserking barbarians who say get extra mad? I donno.

I don't know if SK is set up to handle this sort of thing. This isn't D & D. Right now I'm inclined to be against the idea because to a certain extent the idea already exists.

I mean you have the mercenary who is a fighter, and a different kind of fighter the barbarian. So the mercenary would be a specilist at arms and armor and such, and the barbarian would be a specialist in survival. Toughness, unarmed combat, all the stuff he gets. I mean right there you've got a 'fighter' class with two specialites.

I could be convinced of the need for further specialization I suppose, and I can see where Rial is coming from but for right now I think it doesn't fit with SK.

PS: When did I announce I was multiplaying on the forum?

When the thread about the adamantite on one of your guard NPCs came up you admitted to logging in and taking it off the guard NPC after reading it on the forums to teach them a lesson...I guess?

It appears that being totally IC and not going OOC for common courtesy is multiplaying to some players.

But as I've said if that is multiplaying, I've been asked many times from players and immortals alike to not act as my char would act, because if I did I was griefing the playerbase.

SK really doesn't want to see me playing totally IC a miscreant or diabolic character.

Weapon subtypes have been updated based on the balance spreadsheet that players contributed to earlier in the year.
