You realise, I hope, that 25 wisdom =! 25 int.

I could care less if I had 25 wisdom. It affects nothing other than mana capacity and will based saves.

25 int is absolute bliss for casters.

I'd say the equivalent of 25 int is 25 str and dex. No other stat compares.

wis also affects mana regen.

that was kinda included to 'mana capacity' in my mindset but yeah, I can see how many ppl wouldn't see it that way.

Yeah, wisdom also includes mana regen.

.I have to agree with Erevan on this one. Intelligence is the one stat I max out before any other when I have a spellcaster. If I have a warrior or adventure type class, I do my best to find as many decent intelligence mods as I can wear as soon as possible. In my opinion, it is probably the most important stat you can mod/max, regardless of class. This is pretty much why I was making such a fuss about it with delfs :D .

I'm pretty sure taunt's save is wisdom-based also. Although INT is very important as a caster, you can't act as if WIS isn't as essential. In fact, one reason I will never play a delf caster is because of their dismally low WIS, which not only would screw me out of a lot of mana, but would also make me get wtfownt by taunt.

wis is essential to a caster but I can live with a caster that has 18 wisdom. I can't live with a caster that has 18 int. no way in hell.

A shaman should have maximum wisdom. Right?

Only if going for voodoo. But even then, it's not the wis that counts really but the eliteness of the equipment. With items having 2xgreat ME on them, I don't think wis is that important. :P

As Golg my main problem was that 20 int was not enough to hold sanc+SA and sleep. And considering SA's cost, int is way more important for a shaman than wis.

yeah! I've played a few shamans, and always thought the concentration requirement for SA should be lowered. Since it seems that Shaman was designed as a hybrid class, or more to how I've seen them played (and played them myself) , a front lines healer. Current concentration requirements have a shaman start dropping spells like crazy! You got SA,armor and sanc up, if your fighting more than one opponents chances are yer not healing, you get tripped or bash, one of them is gonna drop... and yes ..definately no sleeping holding anything more than EITHER Sanc or SA.

Concentration as a whole needs looked at. Not everyone can get the leet items so they have to hold their own spells.
