What do priests get more than shamans in levelling really?

Actually shamans get two great spells for levelling. Blindness(renders caster NPCs harmless) and deafness(renders bard NPCs harmless).

And both classes get the awesome spell of cure light. You need nothing more to plvl, if you know what to do.

Add the fact that you can use a greataxe(deadliest subtype of the game) with frenzy and you need nothing more really.

PS: SA is already awesome. It doesn't need to change(especially not buffed), but then again you don't need it to plvl. Shamans have light armor and you can buy things to deflect almost everything as you level in areas from lvl 1 to GM. You only need SA after mentor, to spam use spirit horde and gain 3 ticks of xp within 1 minute and 1 mana pool cost. And nothing levels faster than that anymore with the helpless code.

Give priests something to spam to.

Not everything you fight is undead.

Fight undead then. SK has changed since you stopped playing, there are plenty of levelling areas in SK that involve undead so you can use them to hit level 30 easily. Learn these areas and gain sick xp.

I don't know if you are already, but you should totally use a greataxe. It would only get 2 attacks anyway.

I'm not far enough along for second attack yet.
