What bug is there with concentration?

Takes to much concentration to do anything.

I would like to rely more on my ability to hold my own spells than to have to track down hoarded items in order to run around. My 22 int is barely enough to keep a charm while sleeping, feel really bad for those with only 21.

Oh and sanc and sa can't be held while sleeping on a 20 int, that is about annoying also.

I am sure there are plenty of other instances. I don't rember everything taking this much concentration when I started my first sorc back in 2001

Do you want to keep things up 24/7 as a sorc and have free concentration? Spam zap wands for example, then recharge them. And keep concentration only on basic things(aka charm only). There, you have free concentration to do almost anything afterwards.

Lots of basic spells are available in magical items. Its not a long or difficult journey to find some of them.

Basic spells in common items usually aren't worth it. You pay 5 gold for two charges of fly. Yes gold can be easy if noone else is farming.

Either way the NPCs should wait a little bit longer than half a tick before wandering off. Or better yet turn final strike into something useful since you want to make our lives miserable while trying to get a specific NPC to get something done.

Sorc utility is limited without charms.

If you play a sorc, you should seriously refrain from ever commenting about not having coin. It is insanely easy to make coin as it is. And sorcs have it 100x easier thanks to 3 spells.


I mean jesus christ. Five gold, so that you don't have to hold fly on up to nine people. HOLY [REDACTED] THAT IS SO EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!

If I were dealing with nine people maybe.

Are we even allowed to scribe summon or gate anymore? I mean hell I can't even scribe spells to make my life easier.


I would like to be able to summon the NPC I need then not have to sit on my [REDACTED] for fifteen minutes till it respawns because it walked off before I could even beging to concentrate.

For the love of god. You can make 2 obsidian or more with just like 2 minutes of work as a sorc.

You can make 6+ obs in 2 mins actually, using just 2 summons.

Anyway, it's not just staves. There are store bought wands of flight with many charges in them. So use them. And geez, I mean you have recharge. Use the damn spell!

Yeah if it is so easy why not just share the info with everyone?
