Until YOU hit something, you're invis or whatever. Might be a bug, it lets scouts hit you with ambush even if their first arrow misses, because they shoot again and are still camo'd so the second arrow counts as an ambush too. =O

Now, that's a unique item. And to get it you must do a quest first. So it's not exactly available to any PC of a certain class(like magma or voodoo).

Do you want me to tell you other unique and even more powerful items in my book? I can name you quite a few(actually every unique scripted item). Do they hurt the balance of the game? Sure, if all you want to have is the exact same items for everyone. Unique scripted items offer depth to the game and eliteness to those that put effort in collecting them.

PS: I love how your buddy priest(who is a different aura - but he was plvled along with your past chars) logs in to help you plvl your new chars, and the moment he gets ganked he quits. Sucks to be him.
PPS: I could just as easily have used an etherealform scroll to get away. But you were not really worth that waste.


wtfever. I reported this item years ago, Dulrik even made a post on the forums that said that this item working in this way is a bug. It's probably laying about on these forums still since Jinnahra doesn't delete threads anymore.

I made this item years ago. It's been in the game since 2002.

The quest to attain it is difficult and its side-effects dehabilitating. I don't know if there was a change in policy regarding items like that, but it's been that way for many, many years.

It's not a "bug": it was deliberately designed that way. Whether one thinks it should be nerfed is another matter. From what Ain hints, it probably needs some tweaking, but in my opinion its general use should probably remain the same.

Dulrik said it is a bug because it circumvents taunt.

2002 would be back when you could still Word of Recall out of taunt, right? Just not leave the room or recall manually. Seeing as how taunt has changed, I'd agree with people that the item is buggy.
