Honestaly I have been playing for a little while now and I have come to notice that with a griffon I am playing, there is a lack of good weapons. (good weapons being better than Tanso-steel) I have been to most of the higher level areas in the games that have griffons and still a lack of -fast- weapons. Someone please inform me that I am wrong.

There is a whole set of cold-iron weapons for 5 gold each if it hasn't been changed from an easily accessible area in Taslamar.

I may be wrong, but there is also quite a few in Owyran that are requestable.
Generally the only griffs that need weapons are the barbs and they do just fine with their claws.

PS.
Hope theres not too much OOC info given away there :P

There is a really good griffon only bow also, unless it got the boot.

Figured that of course, but the original poster has a barb, which cannot use bows.

Griffon scouts and shamans also use weapons, and the choices are limited. Though since Adroan's asking for fast, I'm betting scout or barb.

I've found an admantium polearm in a really counter-intuitive location. But keep in mind, it's hard to place good griffon weapons where they'll be appropriately challenging. PC griffons can easily request from NPC griffons, and who else would want the things?

I'm hoping to see a felgryf area added someday with more selection. Even if the felgryfs are too stupid to swing a blade, the wizard making them might not know that. A few neat toys in a heavily-guarded lab aren't unreasonable.

I saw a mithril greatsword for griffons a couple weeks ago. Ridiculously hard to get, really, for a mithril weapon.

Considering how many years griffons went with no weapons, no shields, and nothing else, I find this QQing completely ridiculous. Griffons are built with so many bonuses for a reason.
