This would be a reasonable change if protection herbs were changed to spirit aura herbs and spirit aura herbs lasted as long as protection herbs.

They are bad as well, as I have stated many times vials/brewing makes the classes less unique... It makes warriors more interesting than casters since you can just get vials of spirit aura etc etc

And I did mention that disallowing shamans from ever getting the protection buff would screw over tanking shamans, right?

Please elaborate how it is going to screw over shamans that want to do any form of "tanking".

There's nothing wrong with doing that. However, your use of this is completely unnecessary and inapplicable.

Oh it would clearly screw the [REDACTED] out of all forms of tanking considering protection/sanc/ and spirit aura most certainly stack.

My (worth less than) 2 cents:

Don't change anything. I see too much of scouts/priests/sorcs/shamans spending all their play time gathering herbs/vials/scrolls so fighter classes can go fight like dual-classes while not endangering the supporters and simultaneously having beastly HP.

You want protection, play a class that gets it or use the already super awesome protection herb you probably know all about.

I could get behind a spirit aura herb, provided it was named peyote and was only found in deserts. Maybe it should also cast confusion on you.

It should automatically set your adj to "lizard-like" and your greet name should instantly get changed to Jim for the herbs duration. Oh, and you can only use it in the Zhang desert, when you have three close friends and a girlfriend with you. And you have to be a bard.
