lulz. Once again people attempt to circumvent the silly banishment system with ooc methods.

If someone is a miscreant, it would actually be in character to do this.
Why do a crime you can make one of your lackies do?

Inzy, perhaps because it would be too advanced to code a law system that brings down people in association with a crime.

I'm not in favor of anything that makes it any harder to be a badboy. It's hard enough to do anything unlawful alone with the insane bounty mobs--and even if you can, it's hardly worth the risk, because if you get locked up for an epic amount of time you may as well delete; delete.

I feel sorry for people who get ganked, but I feel much more sorry for the poor MFer who gets locked up for ganking. This 'bug' makes me giggle.

Besides, the PC gets attempted murder. No more assets in favor of law. Things are so much more stale than they were even two years ago.

No. There is no attempted murder against a law pc in his own country as things are currently. Only murder.

Why would you get murder charges against you in a nation you are the law for?

Do you mean ANOTHER's country? If the PC initiates the attack, he can be charged with attempted. The code may get screwed when foreign law NPCs are instead ordered to initiate the attack. May.

No, he's saying, that if you're a Talon, and I attack you in Nerina, you can't report me, unless I actually kill you. But if I attack JoeBob, he can report me.

This was some sort of really silly change Dulrik made to make it more likely you'd get attacked at home..or something.

It was changed because people were abusing it by attacking people, running to report them, and at the same time, unable to be reported themselves due to law immunity.

Can't it just be changed so that you can only be charged unless you initiate combat?

Every problem in this thread is fixed if the ridiculous banishment system were to be changed so that you don't need crimes to banish someone.

How many treads have to come up about this idiotic 'avoiding law' issue before the imms wake up?
