You forgot the Empire. :P

No one in their right mind is going to say that one is best.

In any case, the best is without a doubt Zhenshi. While the trainers there might not be amazing, the sheer speed with which you are able to level there is unparalleled no matter what your alignment.

the empire teaches every skill/spell of amateur to vgood 1 before superb.
Its pretty nice really, and sells all kinds of weapons. Training isnt that bad either.

I generally roll all my heavy chars in the MC. Getting free steel from the Coliseum is really nice. Otherwise, I use Nerina. Every other one just isn't the quite as good. Taslamar is a very close second, I think the North is one of the worst.

Empire for me. Elven/Undead NPCs are awesome for leveling.

I like Tas best, its fairly small and has everything you could possibly need in weapons and armor also those nifty refresh necklaces!

Yes! I completely agree with you there. Those necklaces (which work up until one is a Jman right?) have been the most beneficial to just about every class except maybe the sorcerors or warlocks, who can just fly where they need to once they reach novice. I want to hug whoever it was that put those in.

I've always wondered why they haven't made one for the mental energies that only work up to a certain point, but then I realize that those would make leveling mages just too easy.

It would make it almost as easy as, say, leveling a warrior.

Perhaps its personal preference then. I've always found myself leveling mages far, far quicker than fighters because of the PE tax...

To each his own.

If you don't spam skills, warriors can level more or less without stopping. Mages can't.
