 Post subject: Attacking a second NPC

I played about 2 years ago and forgot how to start attacking a second NPC. I remember something like kill brawny to start fighting the first one. Then kill brawny 2 (doesn't work) or something like that to initiate the second NPC fighting. thx for your help.
