Not sure if this is a bug or not. Went into the room, to get the pass started answering questions, and got to one I didnt know, so I got the history book and went back, and all of a sudden he goes we went through all this before and then starts over, what the hell, how do I get him finish the questions so I can get a pass

Yeah happened to me too. I bugged logged it.

I prayed about this while I know one of the IMMS was about. Got ignored.

I know you all are busy, but even a I can't do anything about it now, but will look into it would have been nice.

Everyone wants to rant about falling numbers in the player base, but some simple common courtesy goes a very, very long way.

Actually, in the event you leave in the middle of one of the questions, you can restart that entire string of questions (by starting from the very beginning) upon re-entry, if you are unable to start from where you left off.

Don't ever assume that your prayer was heard. Even if an immortal is actually online, as you believe, if they were working in an editor they would not have heard your prayer.

Fair enough. My bad to assume if they are in the Who list they would have noticed it.

I've vowed to be more visible when I'm online in 2009, however this doesn't necessarily mean that I'm more contactable. If I'm busy working, I'll usually set quiet mode so folks don't get the wrong impression that I'm ignoring them.

Some immortal interaction advice -
1. Use PRAY and don't ask if you can ask a question, just go ahead and spit it out.
2. Make sure you're clear whether it's IC or OOC.
3. Use BUG if you don't get a response, since that's the only way we have a log of the issue including the room it happened in, etc. The PRAY command does not get logged, so if you don't get a reply soon afterwards, no-one else is going to follow up on it later.
4. Read HELP CONDUCT, or put more simply: be polite.
