It's the identify quality, so yes you probably could enchant stuff to help get yourself a lesser sentence. That seems like it's probably okay to me, since you are still spending time and mana resources to do it.

Unfortunately, no command. Just a status message once per game day (less than 30 minutes).

Any chance that those handy little eyeball washers could be used when held in the inventory, so you don't have to wander around with one in your hand for them to be effective?

(I love that they exist, and if it's that inconvenience that makes them acceptable, I shan't whine more. Just hoping.)
